An Ode to Pizza

First off, let me say that this post is very over due! I had a friend in town this weekend which left me with very little time to blog (not that I am using my friend as a blogging scapegoat). Anyway back to business....

I discovered something last Friday.....I discovered the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Thank you Joe's Pizza for creating the best pizza pie I've ever had the privilege of eating. 

When you think New York, you think pizza. And this New York staple did not disappoint. Since 1975, Joe's has been turning out pie after pie and each of them tastes like they've been prepared by angels. 

I had the wonderful opportunity to sample a half pepperoni half cheese pizza last Friday. (I decided to treat myself after my first week of my internship) After patiently waiting for my pizza to be delivered, I finally heard that knock at my door. Needless to say I don't think I've ever moved so fast in my life.

I opened up that box and saw the eighth wonder of the world. Essentially it was heaven in a box. And let me tell you it tasted as good as it looked. The crust was perfectly crunchy and chewy at the same time. The sauce sweet but not overbearing. And the cheese, perfectly melty and delicious.
