Seamlessly Amazing

Since I've moved to New York I've used my kitchen once. And it was the first day I moved in. In a very "Carrie Bradshaw" way, my kitchen has remained untouched and serves as storage for my excess junk. Anyway... I've found a new food love...and it's called.......

seamless.com
This is the Mecca of food delivery. If you're not familiar with Seamless you should get acquainted immediately. I've become a Seamless addict and I don't think I'll quite anytime soon. I've used it essentially every night that I've been here, but tonight I had the best meal ever. And possibly one of the best meals I've had in New York.

Tonight's dinner was brought to by Rickshaw Dumpling Bar which had the best dumplings I've ever eaten. Seamless's simple to use "add" feature makes it too easy to go overboard on ordering. (which I did...)
Might be a touch too much food.
You'll be pleased to find that Rickshaw's dumplings are healthy and under 300 calories per order...so I didn't feel that guilty. The dumplings from Rickshaws are so delicate you feel like you're eating perfectly seasoned air. Like I said, they are some of the most delicious dumplings I've ever had.

My order consisted of Chicken & Thai Basil Dumplings, Szechuan Chicken Dumplings, Herby Spring Rolls, and Peanut Sate Noodle Soup. Everything I had was absolutely delicious.

The Chicken and Thai Basil Dumplings had lemongrass and fresh basil wrapped in the delicate dumpling wrapper with a spicy peanut sauce for dipping. (This was my favorite)

Look at all of that dumpling goodness
The Szechuan Chicken Dumpling had great floral spice to it, and also had pine nuts in it to add texture. There was also a chili soy dip that really amped up the flavor of the dumpling.

The Peanut Sate Noodle Soup was unlike anything I've ever eaten before. The broth was spicy with a light peanut flavor that wasn't overbearing. The soup was also loaded with rice noodles and julienned carrots and cucumber. The soup also had a light lime taste that brightened the broth overall. This was one of the most interesting and best soups I've ever eaten.

Oodles of Noodles!

My last dish was the Herby Spring Rolls which was a rice wrapper filled with glass noodles, carrot, cucumber, jicama, cilantro, mint, basil, and peanut dipping sauce. These were extremely light and flavorful and a delicious addition to my meal.

yummmmm

After my food coma set in, I decided to write this blog post and get a gym membership. Happy eating!!!
